Blessings

This week has really made me realize how we are truly blessed and how God is such a powerful force in our life. Our pastor has been sick and has made a great recovery. It was awesome to see so many people praying for God's will and to hold strong to their faith--especially his family. They are truly and inspiration to me. It is easy in hard times to want to question, but I found a sense of peace in knowing I can handle the hard things with God on my side.

Our small group leader and friend shared this verse with us during the week to remind us to keep our faith: "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" Isaiah(41:10). It was a reminder that these tough times are to strengthen us.

So, this entry is merely to remind myself of how blessed I am to have a wonderful husband who is also a wonderful father, and two wonderful children that are truly a gift from God--only God could have allowed my life to go in this direction. It is a blessing to watch them grow and I thank God everyday I have here on this earth to experience them!
