Weekend

We had such a busy weekend. Ryan spent the day on Saturday with Nana and Papa and had so much fun. I think he wore them out as much as they wore him out. He loves spending time over there. They spoil him to death!!! Mike and I were able to get out and do some heavy duty furniture shopping. We have managed to pay all our bills off so we are able to buy some furniture to start our new house with. Luckily we agreed on a style. I tend to like a classic elegance--a Louis Phillippe style--with simple lines. I don't want anything to showy. We found a set for the living room (entertainment center, coffee table, end tables) and a formal dining set. I am really wanting a china cabinet to showcase off my glassware and china. The furniture is a dark cherry finish and will complement our new house perfectly. We had to come home and ponder our decision, but after going to look at the house, we decided we are going to go ahead and get the set I really want. Sunday we went and ate breakfast and then went to go look at the house. It looks fabulous!!!! Most of you probably had the pictures e-mailed to you already through Kodak--so let me know what you think!!! When I walked into the model of that floorplan, I knew it was the one I wanted. We had looked at several before and I just wasn't finding one that made me say "this is the one." This floorplan made my heart skip a beat. I can't wait to have family and friends over!
